Discovery Place Science on the Rocks #STOR


Discovery Place is a science and technology museum for visitors of all ages located in the Uptown area of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Since July 2013, they museum is open on the third Friday of the month, from 5p.m. - 9 p.m. for a night at the museum kind of festivity. Each month a theme is chosen to be celebrated, and last month was 90's ThrowBack.

This month of september their theme will be Fan Fest. So if you are the ultimate sports fan get ready for an unforgettable adults-only night at the Museum. Grab a drink, hang out with your friends and enjoy music as you explore the Museum after hours:

Play like a kid and party like an adult with fan favorites from the Charlotte 49ers, Charlotte Knights, Charlotte Checkers, Charlotte Hounds and other Carolina sports teams

Test your skills on a ropes course designed by our friends at the U.S. National Whitewater Center

Play a game of Wii Sports on the big screen

Challenge your friends (or frenemies) to a round of College Rival Cornhole

Cheer on Chubby Checker, Homer the Dragon, Blue the Plott Hound and others in our Mascot Challenge

And much more!
