Every woman should have a workhorse piece. A workhorse should be that piece that goes with everything, doesn't go out of fashion easily, can be worn in every season, and matches your style. I have quite a few of these, and my favorite is this skirt. I always find a woman in a pencil skirt a must, and I own myself a good dozen of them. But now I'm pregnant, and I don't fit on any of my love bugs. So I went to Motherhood and bought one, yes you are right, one black pencil skirt with a delicious stretch band that allow my baby to grow very comfortable. I mixed with a pre-pregnancy shirt, added pumps, a simple make up, and there we go. Ready to one more day of work.
- Skirt: Motherhood Maternity (US$ 29.99 plus taxes and they gave me a shutterfly promo card of $20.00 that I can use later for my baby announcements, so pretty much paid $9.99 on the dress)
- Shirt: Banana Republic - hand me down from friend pre-pregnancy
- Black pumps: DSW
- Necklace: gift from dad
- Bracelet: gift from friend
